Hehehe This scene is taken from Final episodes of needless

Hmm at first i didn't take this anime seriously... especially when it's come along with Valkyria Chronicles , hmm i felt Needless would be a good "boredom killer" .. However as the time progressed .. Valkyria Chronicles started to show it's inferiority of storyline.. especially when Isara got killed :# ... Needless in other line shown a slow but steady growth in story development in positive trends :D till the final episodes which i consider superior to Valkyria Chronicles .

In its Final Episodes this anime brought something that i expected to appear in Valkyria Chronicles :D STRATEGY AND TACTICS :D YEAH that's the point which unfortunately missed in Valkyria :(.. when our Hero Cruz Schild guide his needless allies to Victory .
He who pose no power nor fragments were able to formulate a plan that probably impossible if Blade and Friends directly attack arclight which located 300 meters above the sea level.


Now related to the AWACS things.. above.. Cruz Schild, Dr Gido and Disc represent a fundamental system that likely will be found on future warfare , especially those who based on "Network Centric Warfare".. the C4ISR (Command Communication Control Coordination Intelligence Surveillance and RADAR) which in this context represented by AWACS platform , the AWACS platform, being optimized in detection of threat and coordination of responding forces may be unable to fight by themselves.. however their existence are a "game changer" and may lead to victory for those who posses and able to use them, Cruz Schild here is the representatives of the Control and Coordination, while disc serves as ISR platform supported by her "Scan fragments" while Professor Gido.. well he serves as the Command and Communication part :D

Oddly enough, in the manga Cruz actually DOES posess a Fragment, and his power is a defensive type called 'Shield of Aegis'.
