Remember my old "Shelenia Cheonia" ? It's here [link]
Yes that the plane was destinied to my own Original game idea "Eternal Skies" and has undergo an evolution (mainly because my selfish idea that a FIGHTER must have viable RADAR to be called a fighter XD ) Depicted here is the 1st version.. which built purely for fantasy.
Another thing about the plane is that it's also my little tribute to one of my favourite SHMUP Game the "Sengoku Ace" or "Samurai Ace" and its sequel "Sengoku Ace Episode II" or Tengai in America. Cheonia is basically my "ideal replacement Aircraft" for one of the character there.. a Miko (Japanese Shrine Maiden) named Koyori.
Anyway Koyori that depicted here is actually belongs to the Sengoku Ace Episode II..far sexier and having exponentially larger boobage quotient than what she was in Sengoku Ace (a young tomboyish miko who love money) The additional boobage quotient easily made her as well as her evil counterpart Kaen the icon of the sengoku ace game.
Image i use here are from the Psikyo Artbook.. courtesy of Jun Tsukasa the illustrator of Koyori (and basically rest of the Psikyo Shooters and fighting game) In short the only thing mine here is the plane.
Another thing about this wallpaper is that it's fully made and composited in Blender 3D.. no photoshop involved during making
Nonetheless the process might be considered..well painful and complex as compositor feature in Blender isn't made to be like photoshop or gimp.

too small ? yeah i understand. Basically .. it consist of original scene, glow effects and some external images like that Psikyo logos and Koyori. To combine them all i use "Alpha Over" nodes for external images.. while the glow effects is combined using Color mix node with either "add" or "screen" blend type.
Last but not the least... well is Psikyo still around BTW ? Since they got merged with X-Nauts.. i heard virtually nothing about them
... As well as other SHMUP makers like Yumekobo.
