Greyflame Armored Personnel Carrier

Greyflame personnel carrier.

This APC and rest of her family (Ravenshaw MLRS, Lineflame SPAAG) are our army's current backbone of wheeled armored vehicle, making up about 60% of our wheeled armored vehicle inventory.

This vehicle, along with our Defender II Main Battle Tank were part of our ground assault in Operation Steel Hammer, providing transportation and fire support for our ground forces.

Greyflame is powered by 810 Hp XM-223 Engine by Detroit Diesel, powering eight permanent magnet motor in each wheel, making her essentially "all wheel drive hybrid" She's also equipped with pumpjet propulsion to allow shallow water movement.

The diesel engine is a supercharged type with multifuel capability, allowing it to run with essentially any hydrocarbon fuel like kerosene or if the manufacturer of the engine was right... even rum can be used as fuel.


For armaments Greyflame are equipped with two remote controlled 12,7mm machine guns placed in position where they can simultaneously cover all directions or focusing their firepower into one particular direction without interfering each other's line of fire.

The machine guns are controlled from the passanger compartement aimed using joystick and moniitor. The operator can be part of the fighting troops or dedicated operator. The machine gun's fire control system have several modes like nightvision, radiometric vision and special "sniper" mode for more accurate firing. This mode however cannot be used during moving due to the limitations of the gyro stabilization system.

Each machineguns are provided with ammo box contain some one thousand rounds, with three reload magazines mounted in the roof of the vehicle, reloading is done manually by personnel climbing to the roof via hatch.

For sensors capability. Greyflame is equipped with mainly Optical and radiometric sensors,working in visible light band,infra red (long wave and mid wave) and down to 94 Ghz for radio meter imaging.

Because of the nature of the hostile which uses ESP based martial art skills. Our greyflame carries special ESP jammer as a standard feature of production. This jammer is emitting an inverse phase signal in UHF frequency similar to the frequency emitted by the school bully's aura, effectively canceling or at least reducing effectiveness of their ESP capability. Thus allowing our conventionally armed forces to deter them.

Greyflame is capable of carrying 14 fully equipped personnel, exit and access to the passenger compartment is provided by two side door and one larger rear access door. These doors are both air and watertight, to ensure security during waterborne trip or during mission around NBC (Nuclear Biological, Chemical) contaminated area.

NBC protection is provided through air filter which capable of filtering hazardous agent and conditioning the air before circulating it to the passenger compartment.

For armor capability, Greyflame possess composite armor with layers of ceramic and steel alloy backing, providing capability to withstand direct hit from 30 mm armor piercing gun, from side or head on aspect. Active protection systems and additional applique armor is also available as upgrades.

Greyflame is air transportable using our Shateya Thalassa cargo aircraft.
